I’ve had a really busy few months full of gorgeous weddings and now I get to process them. On the one hand, it’s a lot of work but on the other, I love going back and seeing all the images. Amanda and Brian’s wedding was a relaxed, family affair with a touch of luxury, I photographed Amanda’s sister Alicia’s wedding a few years ago and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces again. The bride and her girls got ready at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin and the ceremony was in the always magical University Church on the other side of the Green, Alicia sang during the service and she had everyone in tears, I was even getting a little welled up. She’s hoping to start singing professionally at weddings and I have to say, she’s already the best wedding singer I’ve ever heard so if you’re on the look out for a singer for your wedding let me know and I’ll point you in her direction.

After the ceremony we spent some time wandering through the Iveagh Gardens before heading back to the Shelbourne to celebrate. Amanda and Brian live in Chicago so there was an Irish American feel to the whole day including the music which had everyone up dancing.
