Glebe House is a beautiful old parsonage hidden along the road beside Dowth in County Meath. It’s mad because you walk out beside the house and there is this huge hill right beside it which is Dowth (the Fairy Mound of Darkness), a 5000 year old tomb and it’s just there by the side of the road with sheep grazing around it. During Karen and Rob’s wedding I had to wander out and stand beside it because I couldn’t get over that it was just there with no fanfair, older than the pyramids at Giza. This is where Karen and Rob chose to celebrate their day, which was full of little moments of simple pleasure like this. The highlight being Rob singing Karen up the aisle. Her face was a picture when she got to the top of the aisle and realised it wasn’t a recording. Yet another happy relaxed wedding to add to my collection this summer. Thanks guys!
