Information
All You Need To KnowThe most important element in any wedding has to be the people… the relationships and the emotions and the banter and all that wonderful human interaction. That’s what makes me smile and tickles the hair on the back of my neck when I see it through the lens of my camera. I want you to look at your photos in a few months time, or a few decades time, and feel all the things you were feeling at that moment all over again.
The last thing I want to do is interfere with the natural flow of the day so my approach is very relaxed and out of the way. I don’t have a list of shots in my head and I won’t be setting things up. I’m at my best when I’m quietly moving through the crowd, catching those laughs and funny faces and happy tears before you’ve even noticed that I’m there.
That doesn’t mean we won’t do any family portraits, I know how important these are, but they will be relaxed and quick to let everyone get on with the party.

FAQ
Will you travel to photograph my wedding?
Yes. I’ve travelled for weddings all over Ireland and am happy to do so. If it’s more than a few hour’s
How about international weddings?
Yes! Just get me there and I will happily photograph your beach wedding in Thailand or your city wedding in New York. Just let me know well in advance so I can make sure to clear the time around your date as well.
Do you do just colour photos or do you also do black and white?
Yes, I love both and find that different photos lend themselves to colour or black and white. Since I shoot in digital I can make those decisions after the wedding when I’m editing the images on the computer. Certain lighting situations, weather and environments call for black and white so if you’re having a December wedding in a dark church in the late afternoon on a rainy day, or if the reception room has funky orange lighting that makes everyone’s skin turn an unflattering colour then those are the times when black and white can cover a multitude of sins. If you have a preference one way or the other you can let me know when we meet up before your wedding.
What equipment do you use, do you have a backup?
I use all professional Canon cameras and lenses. I shoot digitally and always have back up equipment on the day just in case the unthinkable happens.
Are you insured?
Yes, I’m fully insured and have full Public Liability insurance in case a venue needs to have a copy.
How do we book you?
The first step is to get in touch to find out if I’m free on your date.
If you would like we can then organise a meeting to chat and for you to see some of my albums
Choose a package, fill out my wedding questionnaire and I will draw up a contract with all the details
Pay a booking fee of €200 to secure your date
That’s it!
How long will you stay at the wedding?
As long as you’d like me to! I can be there just to cover the ceremony or I can arrive to cover the bridal preparations and stay through the speeches all the way to the fun of the first dances.
Do you include images on a disc or in digital form?
All my weddings include all the images from your wedding gallery in digital format for your own personal use. I do recommend that you back these images up in some way and while it’s great to have these images digitally the best way to preserve them is to print them and display them in some way.
How long after the wedding will we be able to see our photographs
It takes approximately 6-8 weeks to edit and process all the images from a typical wedding.
