This summer has been a wedding photographer’s dream! Deirdre and Colm’s day started off in Oranmore in Galway and after an emotional ceremony they headed off to the Lodge at Ashford which is in the village of Cong. If you’ve ever seen the movie The Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, this is the village where it was made. I’d never been but I can’t wait to go back next year, if the day is half as good as Deirdre and Colm’s we’ll be laughing. Oh, and Deirdre’s three little nephews nearly stole the day with their cuteness, I mean, check out the dicky bow!!
